Sorry for the slow response. The neuro ophth will likely do more indepth eye tests to check for vision loss, swelling and the degree etc.
The typical course for diagnosis would be this, then an MRI/MRV, then they would do a lumbar puncture to measure your opening pressure.
You don't have to have optic disc swelling to have IH. Some do, others don't. Opening pressures also differ for people, as far as what makes them comfortable.
If your pressure is over 20, most will call that suspec...
